My ETSY

A Horse's Vigil
My Mare

Churchill
Twain
There is no more pain, no aching in my joints
as I race across these glorious fence-free meadows.
My eyes are clear and sharp.
I keenly hear the song of the bird and the rustle of the leaves.
The air I breathe is fresh and clean.
I am exhilarated.
There is no more pain,
but there is an emptiness in my heart.
I stop in mid-stride at the sound of a human voice,
but as of yet my earthly companion has not arrived.
My Creator has said that in time all things come to pass.
Therefore, it is in this green pasture you will find me,
waiting patiently, and once again our souls will ride together.
Moon Dancer
Defenestration of a Man
Toadstool
Goldie and the Bear
The Real Princess
"Dancing with the moon is no great achievement,"
she said. "It's what
I do now that my children are grown.
They are my greatest achievement."
"Occasionally she became completely fed up with men."
A Horse's Vigil
"Lead counselor Goldie explains the psychology behind breaking and entering."
"Nothing moves me more than when, on the way to fetching my mare in the morning, I hear the sound of her neighing to me as I open the gate."
Grandma's Fruitcake
"Of course she believed in Santa Claus. It was Grandma's fruitcake she found hard to swallow."
The Mermaid
"Men found her entirely too deep."
